About Melissa

Hi, I'm Melissa! I'm an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist with more than a decade of public-school speech-pathology experience. I am eager to incorporate literature, games, and music into my creative therapy sessions. I have experience treating speech sound disorders, receptive and expressive language delays, fluency disorders/stuttering, social and pragmatic language skills, and facilitating the use of AAC (Augmentative & Alternative Communication). I am passionate about the growth of communication skills in the lives of children and teens.

Personal interests

I live in Charlottesville, Virginia and love fall-time bonfires, kickboxing, reading, thrifting and spending time with my daughters and husband.
